Junior Compliance Officer






New legislation means that a customer’s current policy has to be changed. Don’t worry, you are the go-to person in these situations. As a Junior Compliance Officer you ensure that the organization complies with both internal and external laws and regulations. For example, you investigate possible abuses and problems, you translate new developments into appropriate policy and you are able to involve other colleagues in this. Due to the continuously changing field and increasing pressure from regulators, there is an increasing demand for specialists like you!

Are there new compliance developments? Then you discuss this with the team, since legislation and regulations are constantly being discussed. Management must be able to rely on you blindly. As a Junior Compliance Officer you show that you always go for an ethical organization:

  • monitoring compliance with rules, procedures and standards;
  • investigate possible abuses and problems;
  • performing risk analyses;
  • translate new developments into appropriate policies and procedures;
  • increase compliance awareness;

  • You also have a higher professional or university education. For example, a study Business Administration, Law, Economics or Criminology;
  • at least two years of experience in the field of relevant (financial) legislation and regulations, preferably in a similar position as a compliance officer and has professional knowledge;
  • a good command of the Dutch and English language, verbally and in writing.
